Empowering parents to transform feeding journeys, from Milk to Mealtime

Welcome.

Hi, I’m Laura, Speech and Language Therapist, Paediatric Feeding Specialist, and a parent who understands the quiet work families do around feeding, often unnoticed.

Milk to Mealtime is a specialist paediatric feeding practice, providing assessment and support for infants and children with feeding challenges from bottle refusal to weaning delay, food selectivity, sensory needs, or medical complexities.

It was built on a simple truth:
Families deserve timely, expert input before feeding becomes a source of exhaustion, anxiety, or overwhelm.
You deserve a feeding journey that feels anchored, responsive, and sustainable, not something you’re constantly troubleshooting or holding together on your own.

This is the work I do.
Not just support sessions, but clinical intervention.
Not just feeding plans but tailored strategy rooted in your child’s sensory, oral-motor and developmental needs.
And above all:
Helping families reclaim their right to feel steady, confident, and at ease in one of the most important parts of daily life.

Specialist Guidance for Your Child’s Feeding Journey

As a HCPC-registered speech and language therapist with over a decade of NHS experience, I work with families navigating:

  • Bottle feeding or breast refusal

  • Weaning delays or stalled progress

  • Tongue-tie and early oral function

  • Sensory-based food aversion or restricted diets

  • Medical and developmental needs impacting feeding

  • Neurodivergence and feeding differences

Many families come to me after weeks, months, sometimes years, of trying to figure it out alone:
Waiting for referrals.
Chasing advice.
Holding on tightly.

They’re ready to stop managing feeding in survival mode
and start experiencing it as part of the natural, connected rhythm of family life.

I offer both one-off consultations and high-touch clinical packages, depending on what’s needed.

What You Can Expect

✔ A baby who takes the bottle calmly, confidently, without turning away
✔ A toddler who comes to the table and eats — with growing interest, not resistance
✔ A child who begins exploring new foods — touching, tasting, accepting more over time
✔ Mealtimes that work with less stress, less overthinking, and more connection
✔ A home where feeding no longer controls the day, it simply fits into it
✔ And a parent (you) who leads this journey with confidence, calm, and clarity

Why Families (and Professionals) Choose Milk to Mealtime

Because they want more than short-term wins.
They want clarity. A plan that actually fits.
They want to work with someone who understands the clinical side and the family dynamic.

It’s not about chasing outcomes.
It’s about creating a feeding experience that supports progress at your child’s pace while helping you feel resourced, informed, and confident along the way.
