Why Families Choose Milk to Mealtime
Bottle aversion and difficult feeding experiences can quickly become all-consuming, dictating family life and causing a great deal of stress for parents.
By the time many families reach Milk to Mealtime, feeding has become too important to leave to guesswork. They are looking for specialist expertise, clinical insight and a clear plan to resolve the challenges standing in the way of feeding success.
Milk to Mealtime - led by Laura Bottiglieri, Infant Feeding Expert and creator of the CALM Bottle Method® - helps babies overcome bottle aversion and difficult feeding experiences, giving families the clarity and expertise needed to restore joy, certainty and confidence in feeding.
Families facing feeding challenges deserve more than endless reassurance and generic advice. They deserve answers, expertise and a clear path to resolution.
Meet Laura
I'm Laura Bottiglieri
Infant Feeding Expert, Speech & Language Therapist and creator of the CALM Bottle Method®.
Whether you're navigating bottle aversion, tube weaning, oral or swallowing difficulties, limited diets or feeding challenges linked to medical or developmental needs, my role is to identify the root causes behind your baby's feeding difficulties so I can guide you to lasting resolution, not just temporary improvements.
With over 10 years' experience supporting babies and children with feeding and swallowing difficulties, I combine specialist clinical expertise with the practical understanding that comes from being a parent myself.
My goal is simple: to help families move beyond the stress and uncertainty of feeding and rediscover the joy and confidence it can bring.

"I founded Milk to Mealtime to help the parents whose lives have become consumed by feeding. To help the mum counting every millilitre. To help the family who dread mealtimes. To help the parents who have tried the advice and are still searching for answers. Most importantly, to help babies overcome feeding difficulties and give families back the joy, certainty and confidence that feeding should bring."

My Approach to Feeding
Understand capacity. Restore alignment. Achieve resolution.
The CALM Bottle Method® was developed in response to a challenge I've encountered repeatedly throughout my clinical career: feeding difficulties are often viewed through a single lens, yet feeding itself is far more complex than it first appears.
Because feeding is influenced by a baby's neurological, physical, developmental, sensory and relational experiences, the same feeding difficulty can look remarkably similar on the surface whilst being driven by entirely different factors underneath.
The CALM Bottle Method® provides a framework for identifying those factors, allowing intervention to target what is truly maintaining the feeding difficulty and creating the conditions for meaningful and lasting resolution.
The principles of the CALM Bottle Method® can be applied across the feeding journey, from breastfeeding and bottle feeding through to tube weaning, swallowing difficulties, weaning challenges and complex feeding needs.
