About Milk to Mealtime
I work with families navigating feeding difficulties in infancy and early childhood from bottle refusal and breastfeeding challenges to restricted diets, sensory needs, and delayed feeding development.

I’m Laura Bottiglieri, a Speech and Language Therapist with over a decade of experience and specialist training in paediatric feeding and dysphagia.

Everything I offer is tailored, evidence-informed, and grounded in what your child is ready for developmentally, emotionally, and physically.

Families come to me when feeding has become unclear, exhausting, or stuck and they want input they can trust. This is clinical care that’s responsive, calm, and focused on what creates meaningful change.
If that’s where you are right now, you’re in the right place.
How I Work
Feeding is complex. It draws on developmental readiness, sensory processing, emotional safety, and the relationship between child and caregiver. I bring clinical clarity to that complexity, offering input that’s considered, evidence-based, and shaped around the child.
Whether I’m supporting a family, training a team, or contributing to a collaborative project, my focus is always the same:
To bring depth, nuance, and direction to feeding in a way that’s practical, respectful, and sustainable.

What I Bring
Clinical Specialism
With over a decade of experience in paediatric feeding and dysphagia, I bring clinical rigour and a deep understanding of both typical and complex feeding pathways.
Whole-Child Perspective
Feeding doesn’t happen in isolation. My work integrates sensory, oral-motor, emotional and developmental factors ensuring every recommendation fits the child, not just the chart.
Tailored Strategy
No templates. Every plan is built from the child outward realistic, responsive, and designed to make meaningful change feel possible.

What I Value
-
Depth: Insight that moves beyond general advice and gets to the root of what’s happening.
-
Responsiveness: Approaches shaped around the child’s capacity, not assumptions.
-
Integrity: Advice that respects both evidence and context whether that’s clinical, relational, or organisational.

Whether you're here as a parent, a professional, or a partner, welcome. This work is about doing feeding well, and doing it with care.

The Milk to Mealtime Approach
At Milk to Mealtime, I work with feeding difficulties across infancy, childhood and into adolescence. This includes everything from breast and bottle refusal to sensory-based food challenges, restricted diets and complex feeding needs. My aim is to provide tailored, accessible input for families facing feeding concerns in real time, with real pressures.

I don’t focus solely on what your child is finding difficult. I look at the wider feeding picture—sensory processing, positioning, routines, mealtime dynamics and the environment your child eats in every day. The approach is always pragmatic, developmentally informed and responsive to your child’s needs.

Feeding therapy is most effective when it fits into daily life. I work directly with parents and caregivers, not just with the child. While I may observe your child during sessions, the focus is on equipping you with the insight, confidence and direction to create meaningful change.

All sessions are delivered remotely. This allows for deeper analysis of feeding in your own context—how your child eats, responds and communicates at home. It means we can identify what’s helping, what’s hindering and what needs adjusting in real time, within the space your child knows best.
