Why The Feeding Foundations Pathway Exists
Feeding difficulties often deepen gradually over time, particularly when feeding begins feeling emotionally loaded, increasingly effortful or difficult for a baby to participate in comfortably.
Families entering this pathway are often recognising early signs that feeding is becoming more stressful, fragile or difficult to confidently navigate and want specialist therapeutic support before these feeding patterns become more deeply established.
Early feeding difficulties can quickly shape the way a baby experiences feeding, particularly when feeding starts becoming associated with pressure, discomfort, shutdown, hesitation or repeated difficult feeding experiences.
Feeding difficulties resolve more easily if they are dealt with before they become deeply established.
The Feeding Foundations Pathway was created to provide access to the CALM Bottle Method® therapeutic process early, helping babies experience feeding with greater comfort, confidence and enjoyment whilst feeding still feels possible to gently redirect and rebuild.
The goal is for your baby to experience feeding with comfort, trust, enjoyment and confidence so feeding feels calm, instinctive and sustainable within everyday family life.
