Training & Education

Education and clinical training for professionals working within infant feeding and early childhood care, including GPs, Paediatricians, Specialist Doctors, Midwives, IBCLCs, Health Visitors, Neonatal and Paediatric Nurses, Dietitians, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Years Professionals.

This training is designed to enhance and extend existing clinical knowledge, supporting professionals to work with feeding at a deeper, more integrated level. It brings together feeding development, feeding difficulty, airway–feeding coordination, neurodevelopment, and relational feeding care in a way that reflects how complexity presents in real practice.

This space holds two clear strands of training:
system-wide education that deepens shared understanding across services, particularly at the point where parental concern first emerges, and
specialist clinical training for allied health professionals working directly with babies experiencing bottle feeding distress and aversion.

The focus throughout is on refining clinical interpretation, strengthening professional judgement, and supporting confident decision-making when feeding presentations extend beyond straightforward guidance.
