What You Can Expect
A 45-minute clinical assessment with Laura, an Infant Feeding Specialist and Speech and Language Therapist with twelve years experience in Infant Feeding difficulties. You'll: 💫 GET A CLEAR CLINICAL READ ON YOUR BABY'S FEEDING, NOT ANOTHER GUESS 💫 LEAVE KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT'S REALLY CAUSING YOUR BABY'S FEEDING DIFFICULTY 💫 A WRITTEN REPORT YOU CAN KEEP, RETURN TO, AND SHARE WITH ANYONE INVOLVED IN YOUR BABY'S CARE 💫 KNOW EXACTLY WHICH MILK TO MEALTIME FEEDING PATHWAY IS RIGHT FOR YOUR BABY AND HOW THE CALM BOTTLE METHOD WILL WORK FOR YOUR BABY, BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO ANYTHING A Few Small Things: Once you've booked, you'll receive an onboarding email with everything you need, including the link to send your video. Please send a short video of one full feed via this link at least 48 hours before your session. This gives Laura time to properly understand your baby's feeding before you meet. Booking Policy
First Step Assessment Booking Policy The First Step Assessment is a 45-minute clinical assessment designed to understand your baby's feeding in full, and determine the most appropriate next step within Milk to Mealtime's specialist Feeding Pathways. Payment Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Video Submission Please send a short video of one full feed via the link provided in your onboarding email, at least 48 hours before your session. This gives Laura time to properly understand your baby's feeding before you meet. Deduction from a Feeding Pathway Should you choose to proceed with a Feeding Pathway within 14 days of your First Step Assessment, 70% of your £195 fee will be deducted from the cost of your chosen pathway. Rescheduling Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Cancellations Appointments cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice will be refunded in full. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable. Missed Appointments Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice will result in the full fee being retained. Scope of the Assessment The First Step Assessment includes a full feeding history and video feed observation, and results in a written clinical report outlining what is happening for your baby and which pathway is right. It does not include a detailed therapeutic plan or ongoing intervention. Should further assessment or intervention be required, appropriate options will be discussed following your session. Suitability Milk to Mealtime reserves the right to recommend an alternative service or professional where concerns fall outside the scope of practice or specialist expertise offered.
